ROAD CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Due to Construction along Highway 179 we are urging our guests to avoid taking this route into Sedona. We recommend coming in from Phoenix through Cottonwood as outlined below. Guests coming in from Flagstaff should also use Hwy 89A which comes down Oak Creek Canyon. Recommended Route from Phoenix Via Hwy 260 - Cottonwood: From Phoenix take Interstate 17 north to exit 287 (Cottonwood/Camp Verde) and turn left onto Hwy 260. Proceed approx. 12 miles to the Hwy 89A intersection. Turn right onto Hwy 89A and proceed about 18 miles to Sedona. Once in Sedona continue to the 5th traffic light and turn right onto Northview Rd. Continue approx. 100 yards and turn right into the Sedona Spring Resort. Once in Sedona Springs you will see the Central Registration office on your left.
From the North - Flagstaff: From Flagstaff take Interstate 17 south to exit #337-Pulliam Airport/Sedona. Turn right off the exit ramp and then left onto Hwy 89A for about 30 miles to Sedona. Once in Sedona continue to the 5th traffic light, Northview Road and turn left. Continue approx. 100 yards and turn right into the Sedona Spring Resort entrance. Once in Sedona Springs you will see the Central Registration office on your left.
From the South - Phoenix: If you just prefer to watch roads being built and want to take the "normal" route, Hwy 179, into town, please be advised that there will be some delays from 2007 through 2009. From the SkyHarbor International Airport take Interstate 17 north (towards Flagstaff) and continue for approximately 100 miles to exit #298- Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon. Turn left off the ramp onto Hwy 179 and continue for about 18 miles until it ends at Hwy 89A (traffic light). Turn left onto Hwy 89A and continue for about 2 miles to the Northview Road traffic light. Turn left onto Northview Road and continue about 100 yards to the Sedona Springs Resort Driveway. Once in Sedona Springs you will see the Central Registration office on your left.
